What is it about?
This is a practical copywriting workshop exploring how you can communicate more effectively with audiences, visitors and participants using the written word. There will be loads of handy hints about the process of writing copy, plenty of opportunities to put them into practice and an overview of research about how attenders and non-attenders respond to what we write.
Who is it for?
Anyone who writes copy for arts events and would like to get out of a rut, communicate more effectively and feel more confident. All workshops will include a variety of case studies including those for touring companies.
What will I learn?
Understand how different target markets read and respond to copy and how you can communicate with them more effectively,
explore how to write more accessible copy,
discover how to make copywriting less painful.
